Under the hood, the Shelby F-150 Super Snake is powered by Ford’s iconic 5.0L V8 engine with a supercharger to pump out over 750 horsepower. The result is a well-engineered truck with astonishing capabilities.
Shelby GT
The iconic Shelby GT has returned with more power, performance and Shelby styling! The newly designed Shelby GT combines terrific handling, strong V8 power, muscular exhaust note, and handsome good looks. The naturally aspirated version produces 480 horsepower. The additional horsepower comes from a new exhaust, while a Ford Performance supercharger is available that can boost horsepower over 700+.

The Shelby American Super Snake evolved from the Shelby GT500 platform to the all-new Ford Mustang GT chassis. This made the car much more nimble and road-course ready with the car’s new independent suspension front and rear.

This started with Carroll Shelby harnessing his obsession with speed initially to help create a Mustang that would be able to hold its own on the track. His work went on to inspire a generation of tuners.
While Carroll Shelby is not here today to see the newest incarnation of his Mustang, there is no doubt that he would be happy to see Ford is still dedicated to helping drivers bring home performance vehicles that are street-ready.
