Ford Mach-EThe 2021 model year brought us the brand new 2021 Mustang Mach-E! Inspired by the Ford Mustang, the Mach-E is an electric mid-size crossover. Range and Charging

Depending on the type of battery and electric motor, the Mach-E has an EPA estimated range between 211 and 300 miles. The all-wheel-drive models with the extended range battery have an estimated range of about 270 miles while the rear-wheel-drive models with the extended range battery have an estimated range of about 300 miles. The Mach-E comes with a Ford mobile charger that can add up to 30 miles per night with a 240-volt outlet. All the Mach-E models also have the fast-charging ability.

Comfort and Cargo

The Mach-E has a large, vertical 15.5-inch display screen that gives access to control the infotainment system. There are many nice features that include the customizable ambient interior lighting, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless charging, a panoramic sunroof, and more! There is also an optional active drive assist, which will act as an autopilot for over 100,000 miles on approved roads. As far as cargo space goes, there is a 29.7 cubic foot space behind the back seat and 59.7 cubic feet with the seats down. In the trunk located in the front of the vehicle, there is 4.8 cubic feet of space to be used.

Performance

The rear-wheel-drive base model makes 255 horsepower and 306 pound-feet of torque while the all-wheel-drive model makes 429 pound-feet of torque. The base model goes from zero to 60 mph in the five-second range. The Premium model will have 266 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque. The California Route 1 model increases the horsepower up to 282! The First Edition will have 333 horsepower and offer 429 pound-feet of torque! The GT and GT Performance Edition have a zero to 60 mph time in the mid-three-second range and produce 459 horsepower and 612 pound-feet of torque!

Pricing

The Select model starts at $42,895 and goes zero to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds. The Premium model starts at $47,000 and goes zero to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds. The California Route 1 starts at $49,800 and has a zero to 60 mph time of 6.1 seconds. The First Edition starts at $58,300 and will do zero to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds. The GT starts at $60,500 and has a zero to 60 mph time of 3.8 seconds!
