Art Scene in Tampa, FLTampa, Florida, is home to some amazing things. There’s incredible dining, limitless entertainment, the newly invigorated Tampa Bay Buccaneers football team, and of course, the breathtaking beaches. Tampa Museum of Art

One thing that makes the Tampa Museum of Art even more exciting this year is that it’s celebrating its 100th year of operation. The art museum has an expansive collection and is always rotating its exhibits. One of the more exciting temporary exhibits to look forward to in the coming months will feature female heroines throughout history and includes works from ancient Greece. It’s the perfect mix of art and history. This exhibit will be with the museum for the latter part of 2020 and all of 2021.

Other exhibits, such as Modern Vision Works from the Bank of America Collection, will only be on display for another month or two. In addition to the temporary exhibitions, the Tampa Museum of Art features several permanent collections. Included are several collections of ancient and modern art. Each Thursday between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. is an event called art on the house. During this time, entry to the museum is on a pay-what-you-want pricing model.

Tampa Regional Artists
